FAQ

The weather in San Diego is typically sunny and pleasant most of the year with average temperatures around 70F. However, it can be cooler on the water (especially in the winter months) so we recommend dressing in light layers and bringing a sweater. We would also appreciate if you avoid high-heels and shoes with colored soles. Sailboat fiberglass can stain and scuff, and we like to keep the boat looking great for all our guests!

Yes! Children of all ages are welcome. In order to ensure a safe and enjoyable charter for everyone, we do not allow running or horseplay. Per USCG regulations, all children 13 or younger must wear life jackets at all times.

Yes, feel free to bring your own food and drinks.  Alcohol is also allowed for our 21 and older guests.  But please no red wines as these can permanently stain the boat surfaces.  We also ask that you enjoy adult beverages responsibly for the safety of all on board.

We do not allow smoking of any kind on the boat. There are designated smoking areas in the marina close to the dock area.
San Diego has one of the most predictable and pleasant climates in the world. It is typically sunny and mild most of the year. Severe weather is uncommon, and we rarely need to cancel tours. However, if the Captain feels the conditions may be unsafe or too unpleasant, we will inform guests as soon as possible to reschedule or offer a refund.

We adjust our prices seasonally.  They typically range from approximately $79 to $119 per person depending on the event and/or timing.  Call and we will work out a deal for your party no problem!

We limit our passenger total to 6 people max per tour to ensure the comfort and safety of all guests. There is plenty of space and room to spread out.

Yes. Our boat has a head with fresh water, hand soap and clean hand towels for all our guests.
The San Diego harbor rarely has steady waves. It is relatively flat and calm so sea sickness is unlikely. However, everyone is different. If you feel it’s necessary, take a motion sickness tablet before you board.

Our tours typically run 2 – 2.5 hours depending on the harbor traffic, wind conditions, and currents.

Tipping is entirely up to the guest. If you feel we did a fantastic job, a tip would be greatly appreciated!

We will do our best to include any guests who want to join a tour. Please call Claire to discuss your particular situation, and she will see what we can offer in terms of additional support.
